Today we rise and celebrate possibly the greatest name not just in basketball, but all of sports…no, scratch that, WORLDS  history. John Arthur “Chubby” Cox III was born on this day in 1955.

Cox, a shooting stiff out of the University of San Francisco, was picked in the 8th (159th pick) round of the 1978 NBA draft by the Chicago Bulls. Cox didn’t stick in the Bulls’ roster.  He later signed up to be a member on the Washington Bullets in 1983.  Cox’s whole NBA hardwood career was rubbed out after only 7 games. But who cares, his name is Chubby Cox bitch!

Chubby fun fact: The 2nd most girthy thing about “Chub” is that he’s actually Kobe Bryant’s uncle.  His sister Pam is Kobe’s mother.  Hey, why doesn’t Kobe adopt the family moniker and become the “Chubby Mamba”!?

So The Sun is saying that Macaulay Culkin is Blanket’s baby daddy. I believe it.  Like anything surrounding Michael Jackson isn’t bizarre? Frankly I could go without EVER hearing anything new about the Pop King.

What they should be reporting on is Kid Rock being the biological father of the Home Alone brat.

Yeah, the Techno Viking is pretty hard core, but beat Chuck Norris? Did you know that Chuck Norris once threated to sue Burger King because they refused to make it his way. When asked what “his way” detailed, he replied: “with barbed wire and nails, of course”. He then roundhouse kicked the reporter for even asking!

Saw this on Gorilla Mask and couldn’t help but gank it.  Batman pimp schmack’n Robin like the little beotch that he is.  What a stupid thing to ask.

Just saw Dark Knight recently.  Great movie, but I have two gripes and in talking with friends of mine they had the same two nit-picks:
1) Christian Bale’s deep gravely Batman voice is laughable
2) Maggie Gyllenhaal and her weird face just doesn’t cut it as a Batman love interest

Other than that, pretty awesome flick.  Can’t wait to see more in the franchise.
