Pistons in Portland

Posted by pistonsnation

The Pistons (5-6, 2-4 road) will be in Portland to take on the Trail Blazers (8-4) tip off from the Rose Garden will be at 10:00 pm est and can be viewed locally on Fox Sports Detroit Plus and nationally on NBA TV, and listened to on WWJ 950.

Trail Blazers’ Snapshot:
Home record: 3-2
Vs. East: 1-2
Last game: 11/16 (Mon) L 95-99 @ Hawks
Last 10: 7-3
Streak: Lost 1
Injuries: Travis Outlaw (Out- stress fracture in left foot)

Another tough test for the Pistons tonight.  The Blazers coming off a five game road trip in which they went 4-1.  The Pistons will hopefully get back to .500 tonight instead of having their first 3-game losing streak.

“The City of Roses” has been historically a hard place for the Pistons to get a win.  They have not won their since November of 2005.

Look for the Pistons magnificent guard trio to be hot if the Pistons want to end their dubious Portland run.  Will “The Thrill” Bynum has scored 20 or more in the last three games.

ALSO OF NOTE: The Blazers are 10 point favorites … Blazers D allowing league-low 87.1 ppg … Brandon Roy is averaging 20.3 ppg and 5.1 apg …
