The Pistons (2-4, 1-1 at home) will be hosting the Philadelphia 76ers (3-2) Tip off is 1:00 pm est from the the Palace of Auburn Hills and will be televised locally on Fox Sports Detroit, and can be heard on WWJ 950.

76ers’ Snapshot
Road record: 1-1
Last game: 11/6 (Fri) W 94-97 Vs. Nets
Streak: Won 1

Doesn’t look like Tayshaun is coming back any time soon.  If you haven’t heard he’s got a small rupture of a disc in his lower back.

Rip should be (fingers crossed) back any day now, just not today. Rip is still listed as day-to-day with his sprained ankle.

The 76ers bring in their star Andre Iguodala who’s averaging 18.4 ppg and 5.6 apg.  Andre’s a nice player, but he’s one of my least favorite players in the league.  It has nothing to do with his play either.  Some stuff he has said on his Twitter caused me to be really turned off by him to the point where I decided to not follow him.  So, I’ll definitely be rooting for him to have an off night.

Detroit native Willie Green, despite his numbers being on a decline, usually has a good showing against the Pistons.

The Sixers didn’t do much over the offseason but they did sign former Piston center Primoz Brezec over the summer. Primo has yet to get regular season clock for the Sixers, but I’m hoping to see the Slovenian gangster for the entertainment value alone.
