Ron Artest has a Tigers’ hat
Posted by pistonsnationHad to post this one. You have to at least acknowledge that Ron Artest is special, that way it’s open to different interpretations. Here he’s talking about being so over the “The Brawl”, and says he could and would play for the Pistons. Ron is an unrestricted free agent this summer.
According to Ron we love him, but this isn’t the first time we’ve heard this claim.
I think there’d be a little outcry at first if The Artest Show were play here in Motown, but if he produced then people would get over it. Trust me. And hey, he’s already got a Detroit Tigers hat so what’s the problem?

I have maintained that I would love to have Artest in Detroit. He would be a stingy defender and he has a good offensive game to boot. I don’t think the Rockets let him get away but if they did, I wouldn’t mind seeing him in Detroit.

June 12th, 2009 at 8:21 pmHouston will not let him get away unless he wanted to. I said it before that he is a very good player and also defensive minded as is always the case with the Pistons country. Pistons fans will turn around and he may even be their sweet heart. Let’s watch and wait.
