Pistons in Milwaukee

Posted by pistonsnation

The Pistons (16-11, 7-6 road) will be in Milwaukee to take on the Bucks (14-16). The tip will be at 8:30 est from the Bradley Center.  The game can be viewed locally on Fox Sports Detroit.

Bucks’ Snapshot
Home record: 8-4
Last game: 12/23 (Tues) W 86-94 Vs. Jazz
Last 10: 6-4
Streak: Won 3
Vs. Pistons: Nov. 28th Bucks (97) @ Pistons (107)
Injuries: Malik Allen (ribs), Charlie Bell (knee)

The Pistons will be going into Milwaukee’s Bradley center looking for their third straight win, but it’s not coming at the most opportune time.  The Bucks, winners of 3 straight, are playing some pretty good ball these days, especially at home.  John Hammonds’ club has won their last 5 home games by an average of 14.4 points in those contests, and this is their last home game of the month so you know how much they’d love to go undefeated there for December.

The Pistons need to use that quick starting line up to get on the board against Milwaukee.  The Bucks have been by getting out to fast starts while holding the opposition’s scoring down.  When the Bucks hold their opponents to 19 or fewer points in the first quarter they’re a perfect 8-and-0 this season.

ALSO OF NOTE: The Bucks are 5-0 at home in December. The last time Milwaukee went undefeated in a month at home was December of 2006 (7-0) … Damon Jones to finally join the Bucks … Bucks rook Joe Alexander is 1 of 3 rookies campaigning to be in the Slam Dunk CompBrew Hoop preview
