Game day chat – Truth About It
Posted by pistonsnation
As we wait to watch our red, white, and blue heroes take the floor and go for a third straight win here’s a chance to get inside the other guy’s dome.
Kyle from the Wizards’ blog TruthAboutIt.net and I got together for a little Q&A on our respective bball squads. Here’s Kyle’s answers to the four part Wizard-centric inquisition.

Another shot at the Wiz
Posted by pistonsnationThe Pistons (13-9, home 6-4) will be hosting the Washington Wizards (4-18) Tip off is 7:30 pm est from the Palace of Auburn Hills and will be televised locally on Fox Sports Detroit
Wizards’ Snapshot
Road record: 1-8
Last game: 12/15 (Mon) L 118-98 Vs. Pacers
Last 10: 2-8
Streak: Lost 3
Injuries: Gilbert Arenas (knee), Brendan Haywood ( right wrist – torn ligament)
Against Detroit: 12/9 – Pistons (94) @ Wizards (107) , 11/1 Wizards 109 @ Pistons (117)
The Pistons have a chance to avenge a bad loss to the Wizards that occurred just eight days ago when the woeful Wizards got just their 4th win of the season..
I have to believe the Pistons as a team will be more focused on beating this Wizards team tonight. If we play some actual Pistons defense. The Wizards are averaging 108 points a game against us in two games. No letting their bench go buck wild like they did (59 points) in Washington.
I’m still not big on the 3-guard starting crew, but I’m a big fan of Stuck in the first unit. Rodney’s game has been as hot as Rosie Jones since the promotion, averaging 14.7 points and 9.6 assists since entering the starting lineup. Stuck’s also showed his perimeter touch going 5/7 from 3-point range in his last two contests.
For your entertainment, and a loose Wizards tie-in, here’s one of my favorite Family Guy clips. Goodbye big farts.
ALSO OF NOTE: Andray Blatche is in as the starting center and ex-Piston Juan Dixon is the new starting point guard. Dee Brown, who started at that spot a week ago, is no longer on the team. Ex-Piston Mike James and Javaris Crittenton were acquired in a three-way deal last week that cost the Wizards a No. 1 pick and Antonio Daniels (pistons.com) … Iverson fined $25K for comments to a fan … Palace sellout streak with an * … Throwback G-Hill dunk … Bullets Forever draft dream’n … Allen Iverson is preppy …
