S.Jax takes a swipe at Rip

“No goggles. No, no, no. Never. I’m not going to be like Rip Hamilton, where my nose is broken eight years ago and I still wear a mask,” said Jackson, who injured the same eye during the preseason. -SFGate
Ok, I understand a guy not wanting to wear goggles or whatever, but what’s the point of bringing Rip’s name into it? What’s wrong with just saying “naw man, no eye wear for me” and leaving it at that? Furthermore you can’t tell me that Stepehen Jackson’s mug wouldn’t benefit from some type of covering.

Stephen Jackson is 10 times the player that rip hamiltons goofy looking, hannibal lector ass is ever going to be. Its ashame we wont get to see more of his serial killer mask when they don’t make the playoffs.
