With a confrontation with the Celtics at the Palace looming I wanted to address something that I know Pistons Nation is bothered by … the Rasheed Wallace / Kevin Garnett bro-mance during the ECF. I mean even Sheed’s teammates weren’t cool with it.
Respect your opponent, but don’t slow dance with ‘em at half court. That’s not Bad Boys, that’s just bad. Rasheed showed more competitive fire towards the cameraman than he did towards the Celtics.
So, I’d to implore Rasheed to remember the words of an Pistons’ immortal, Rick Mahorn, when it comes to these types of things: “I’m not friendly to anybody. When the game starts I’m punching you in the mouth” (and, it doesn’t matter who you are)
