A.I. debuts for real this time

Posted by pistonsnation

The Pistons (4-0) will be in New Jersey to take on the Nets (1-2) Tip off is 7:30 pm est from the IZOD Center and will be televised locally on Fox Sports Detroit.

Nets’ Snapshot
Home record: 0-2
Last game: 11/4 (Tues) L 114-86 vs. Suns

Chauncey and Cheikh hadn’t turned their head and coughed in time for Allen Iverson to play Wednesday in Toronto, but he will suit up for the first time for the Pistons tonight as the Pistons look to go 5-0 to start the season.  Pistons.com lists Stuckey starting at PG in their game preview.

It’s a different look in New Jersey.  Vince Carter is still a Net, but Kidd and Jefferson are gone.  To recap Kidd was shipped to Dallas for Devin Harris last season. RJ was traded to Milwaukee for Yi Jianlian and former 6th Man of the Year, Bobby Simmons back in June.

The Nets picked up free agent forwards Eduardo Najera and former Piston Jarvis Hayes (hopefully Jarvis will still X-mas shop for the ‘Stonz) over the summer and got guard Keyon Dooling in a sign-and-trade. The Nets acquired 7′ 260 lb center Brooke Lopez out of Stanford with the 10th overall pick in June’s draft.
