PN hook’d up

  • Juiced Sports Blog has an interview with the band Yellowcard’s (they had that hit Ocean Avenue in 2003) Ryan Mendez. I guess Ryan Mendez is a Motown transplant and Mitchell Blatt of JSB gets his insights on our Pistons. It’s a real interesting read, and it’ll be added onto on Friday.
  • Hoops World: Matt Watson catches you up on the Pistons 2007 offseason and reminds us that at the end of the day the Pistons barometer of success depends on whether or not we’re holding a parade downtown.
  • The Shamrock Headband: Here’s a colorful breakdown of the Eastern Confrence’s parody. They seem to at least respect our Pistons (sans Flip Saunders) though. Duck for cover fans of the Bulls and Nets.
  • Sactown Royalty pays respect to the career of Corliss “Big Nasty” Williamson. We know what he meant as a sparkplug off the bench to our ‘04 champs, so here’s some fan perspective on his days as a Sacramento King.
  • Tony Mejia of CBS Sportsline ranks the leagues small forwards. Tayshaun Prince comes in at #7. My list would flip flopped Tay and Caron Butler. Butler had a break out season last year but Tayshuan is more bang for your buck. Heck let’s give Tay a a little more love. You can make a case for him at #5 over Luol Deng.
  • Shawn Marion is asking for a trade out of Phoenix. It looks as if a deal with the Lakers for Lamar Odom is a possibilty. Would you give up one of our core guys for the Matrix??
