The Pistons organization is going to be celebrating 50 years of Detroit basketball this upcoming season. The original owner of the team, Fred Zollner, moved the Pistons from Fort Wayne, Indiana to the Motor City in 1957. (The Fort Wayne Zollner Pistons actually joined the NBA in 1948) The season long celebration is going to include the Pistons wearing retro jerseys and various incorporations of the anniversary logo to the left which includes center court.
I don’t believe anything has been confirmed, but I’ve heard rumors that they’re going to be wearing 1957-58 throwback unis, like the one below worn by Pistons legend George Yardley. (with a more modern short length I assume)

In other apperal news, it’s seems to be confirmed that the Pistons will be sporting new warm ups. Take a look below. They’re clean, nothing flashy, but they’ll look good out on the court. Like our Pistons.
